Hello, welcome to my blog! I’m an amateur photographer that simply has a compulsion to document life as I see it. I’m inspired by all types of photography and often enjoy the works of those that are very different than mine but I do tend to gravitate to the street to document the spontaneity of life with the hope of capturing the essence of my subject. That split second that cannot be duplicated can tell us so much about ourselves.
Photography is an escape for me and this blog serves as my creative outlet that allows me to interact and exchange thoughts with so many great people. I think the only thing that stirs my emotions as much as a captivating photograph is music but that is a whole other story.

This is a great start to my day! It’s very nice of you to comment, I’m so glad you like some of my work and get that sense of emotion. If one of my images can stir some emotion then for me that is the best compliment.

Hi Paula, I’m always so hesitant to show an image of myself, not sure why? But thought it would be nice to show one that isn’t so serious. I use a rather old Canon 40d but honestly it’s been on the shelf a lot lately. I mainly use an Olympus OM-D EM-5. For my style of work it’s the perfect camera to use and it takes gorgeous photo’s, I just love it.
