It’s been fun to experiment with some landscape and now food photography. The winter months are not good to a street photographer so almost out of necessity having to try something different. Also, it’s nice to combine my latest addiction. Nothing can beat a fresh espresso made at home…if you enjoy coffee. Have a good night Paula
I hope you are not sleep deprived 😉 Thank you, Mark, enjoy what’s left of your weekend, and thank you for keeping in touch. P.S. You are equally brilliant in all genres IMHO.
You are way too kind Paula but thank you for such wonderful praise it means a lot, and you enjoy the rest of your night + Sunday too.
You are my favourite Photographer! You are my favourite Barista! My bias aside, I do love the clarity of this shot. Also I do love how you have come to find something else you are passionate about. Thank you to Andrew and Tim for bringing out your inner Barista! You are very dedicated to the art of Caffeination (I thought I was being smart, but this is the name of a festival and a coffee house). Cheers!
Such a perfect still-life Mark; you are really stepping outside of your traditional style and making some beautiful art. I am proud to report I share your passion for the morning bean 🙂
Hi Tina….thanks for the support, it’s always great to hear your thoughts and I’ve really enjoyed branching out. As for my caffeine addiction…there are many health benefits when consumed in moderation so I look at it as a good thing. Have a great day. 🙂
Hi Mark, I am with you this one. Cannot start my day without it. I love this style of photography– you’ve done a beautiful job with the arrangement using different textures. The overhead shot and the light are gorgeous.
Thank you so much Jane. It was a lot of fun to combine two of my favourite addictions. Coffee and photography. I’m glad this worked out as its a new style for me but I think I’ll experiment again in the future. Have a great day.
Hi Emilio, it’s funny how many can really love the smell of fresh coffee but do not have a taste for it. I can’t imagine a day without it. Thanks for stopping by….all the best
Mark, this is one photo where addiction can be beautiful. Well done ~ enjoy the morning.
It is a beautiful addiction….nothing like the smell of freshly ground coffee in the morning. Thanks so much for the kind words. All the best
I can smell it, I swear 🙂 It’s great to see your work, Mark. Always a treat, and if I may say I am happy to see you in different genres.

I love that term…caffeination. Too bad it’s taken, perfect name for a little shop. Of course thank you for all your support! 🙂 🙂
What a great still-life, Mark! As someone else has said, I can some more the coffee from here…mine’s an espresso, please….
One espresso coming up….actually I’m about to make one. Thanks so much Sue for your kind words. Have a great day.
And have a great day yourself!
I recognize addiction when I see it. 🙂 A well done still-life. But I need an espresso now…
One espresso coming up…at least for myself very soon. Hope you are doing well and thanks so much for stopping by.
I just had one myself. 🙂
Reblogged this on .

Even my wife, who does not drink coffee, loves the smell of freshly ground beans. She allows me my addiction! 🙂
