Well done! Extraordinary! You have captured a very compelling image!
Provocative. Somber. Weighty. Tender. Disparate indeed!

A perfect quote – it really captures the essence of this photograph. And of course your descriptive comments really describe this image so well. Thank You
Hi Tina. He was fully aware so I was able to get great eye contact. For me I really like the contrast with the other guy who is not making eye contact. The two balance each other nicely for me. Have a great night.
Another wonderfully intriguing image, Mark. The magic of this portrait is that I feel like I am part of the scene yet an observer at the same time. Drawn in, then I step back. Excellent work.
Quite a captivating and compelling image. The sorrow expression on both of them brings out a special message. I really like the tight composition and the dark tones in the photo. Great work!
Hi Patti, I always love to hear what others feel so I thank you for this. I never really thought of tenderness to describe this image but it certainly is there so thank you for a different perspective.
You are correct, nothing to do with Halloween. This was taken during Toronto’s Gay Pride event. The eye’s and aura around these guys caught my attention, for me I just knew it would make for acompelling image. Thanks for stopping by to comment 🙂
I can’t express how much you have made my day with such wonderful and heartfelt comments. Inspiration comes from many places and such generous words really help me to continue on with my street work.
I wish I had the confidence to attempt this sort of work, my own photography is small scale and domestic but your images are full of life and that is inspirational in itself!
I’m trying to build more and more confidence as I go it’s always a little frightening doing street work although people are usually more than ok with it I find and you end up meeting interesting people.
I suppose you just have to get started and not worry about it! I think a lot of people must be flattered to be photographed, I’m determined to try it – you’ve inspired me!
Excellent!! When you challenge yourself great things can happen.

Wow Mark! Did the guy on the left pose or was he just coincidentally looking your way? The photo is compelling and beautifully done.
