Thanks Patti :). When i noticed her among the crowd I was drawn to her instantly. It took some time to get into the right position for the photo but I’m glad I was able to get the capture I wanted.
She was not aware. I find in many cases if the person is aware the photo just does not really work for me. I’m really drawn to street photography and capturing the spontaneity of the moment. Thank you for taking a few moments to look at some of my other photos and for deciding to follow.
My pleasure Mark 🙂 Do you think she would object for having her photo taken and published? I don’t mean to make you feel bad about it, I am just wondering as it is my concern when I take photos of strangers which happens rarely .. I am lucky I don’t really like photos of people 😉
It is a fine line when it comes to street photography and there is always the risk someone may object. I would certainly remove a photo should that be someone’s wish but in my experience most seem to have no issue. All the best to you Paula and have a great day :).
That’s a relief to hear. Take care Mark 🙂
This made me smile. I was interested in your exchange in the comments about street candids. It’s so tricky knowing what is right. I must say I agree with you. I would hesitate to try to sell images of others without their consent, but not so worried about sharing in my blog etc.
Thanks for offering your input and thoughts, I really do appreciate the time you have taken to leave a comment. The exchange of thoughts and art is what makes our WordPress universe so great. Btw, thank you for taking the time to look at some of my other images. All the best.
I would have to echo that sentiment towards your work. You have some incredibly creative photos on your blog, they really do stand out. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Thanks for your very inspiring comment about my photos 🙂 Speak to you soon
Great photo!!!
Thanks a lot guys! It’s so nice of you to take the time to comment.
Fantastic shot!!! I am totally intrigued!
Why thank you! I like your comment, to be intrigued – that’s very cool.
Cool shot. Love the framing — and the mustache, of course.
Thanks very much 🙂
that is interesting and a cool framing 🙂
Thanks a lot Joshi. The framing is out of the ordinary but I was happy how this turned out, I think it works. 🙂
It works so well I can’t imagine her without the moustache!

Was she aware of you taking a picture of her?

Great shot and the picture tells a lot ! 🙂
Very kind of you to drop by and thanks for the complement.
Great portrait, Mark! That face reveals more than it conceals.
Thank you very much Uday! And very well said, I too think there is a lot that is revealed. All the best
